Anna Grace Beedy Heath, age 79, retired homemaker of 60 years and mother of three, died at the Stone Brook Senior Community Center in San Marcos on Thursday, July 20, 2006, following a lengthy but courageous battle with diabetes.
Mrs. Heath was born Nov. 13, 1926, in the town of Floydada, in Floyd County, Texas, to Arthur J. and Dulcie Gibson Beedy. She attended Floyda

da County public schools and graduated from Durham Business School in 1948 and began her professional career with Boswell Diaries in Ft. Worth, Texas. In 1948 she met and later, on Feb. 24, 1949, married World War II veteran, Dan William Heath, also of Ft. Worth.
Her business training provided the basis for a life long clerical support to her husband and family.
Not only a devoted wife and mother, Grace was active in the Lockhart Lions Club both as a support to her husband and in her own right. She also found reward in her support to her Church. Grace was a long-time active member of the Lockhart First Christian Church.
Grace is survived by her children, Dan Nathan Heath and his wife Susan Eureste of Lockhart, Diane Jenkins and her husband Kenneth of Wisner, La., and Darlene Morris and her husband Martin Briceno of Lockhart; four grandchildren, Joy Morris Pardo and her husband David, and Amber Morris Crabill, all of Lockhart; Ryan Kent Jenkins and Danielle Nicole Jenkins of Wisner, La.; Four great-grandchildren, J.D., Blake and Caitlin Pardo and Peyton Crabill all of Lockhart; six sisters and one brother, Elizabeth Beedy Amburn and her husband Glen of Tulia, Texas, Marion Beedy Lafayette of Ft. Worth, Margaret Beedy Henry, of Frisco, Texas, Arthur Wayne Beedy of Ft. Worth, Ruth Beedy Day of San Jose, Calif., Beatrice Beedy Goble and her husband John of San Jose, Calif., and Jaunice Beedy Welch and her husband Jim of Austin; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dan W. Heath and one sister, Ida Mae Beedy Ely.
The family received relatives and friends from 10:00 am. until the 2 p.m. funeral service on Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Eeds Funeral Home. The Reverends Randy Frye and James McKibbin officiated. Burial followed at the Lockhart City Cemetery.
Serving as Pallbearers were Ronnie Stephens, Clint Mohle, Terry Mohle, Ryan Jenkins, Chris Hendrick and Carlos Eureste.
