Never forgetting the blessings of our Lord, Benjamin was a member of Faith/Fe Presbyterian Church of Lockhart where he served as an Elder of the church. Besides his passion for God and work, he will be remembered for his favorite pastime, fishing! Whether on the side of a river bank, at the lake, or on the Gulf, “where there’s a fin, there’s a way!” As a hobby, he also collected antique hooks, tackle equipment, and taxidermy of fish. Friends and family members considered him not only a fishing enthusiast, but also a fisher of men! Nothing meant more to him than God and him family. His life may have seemed short in years, but was very full. And like the wind, we may not see him but his presence will always be felt around us.
