Bonnie Lucille Homann Raesz, 70, of Taylor, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 5, 2006. She was born Nov. 15, 1935 to Edwin and Emma Homann in Mendoza, Texas. Bonnie married the love of h

er life, Oscar Raesz, on Nov. 29, 1952.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Oscar; daughters Karen Dean and husband Randy and Cyndi Smith and husband Daine; one son, Steve; and one brother, Ervin Homann and wife Helen. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members and dear friends. Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
Together, Bonnie and Oscar owned and operated Ace Typewriter Service of Austin.
She was active at St. John Lutheran Church at Thrall, where she was a member of the Ruth Circle and hostess of Sr. Citizen activities. Her faith gave her strength and courage to face her disease. Oscar”s faithfulness and devotion to the very end and her love for him was a witness to all of us of what God intended marriage to be.
Memorials may be given to National Parkinson”s Foundation or St. John Lutheran Church in Thrall.
Visitation was Tuesday, March 7, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Thrall with Reverend Walter J. Miller and Vicar Jon Bielfeldt officiating.
Burial followed in Taylor City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Condra Funeral Home.
