In what was touted as an evenly-matched District game, the Lions looked to increase their season record to 4-1, while the Buffs had hoped to pick up their first win on the season. At the end of the night, though it was the Lions who emerged victorious, delighting a home crowd with a 36-14 win – the Lions’ first District win in more than two years.
