Dale Siemering, 78, of Lockhart, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2007. She was born Nov. 9, 1928, in Whon, Texas to George R. and Myrtle (Ellis) Bible.
She was the first director of the Grace Lutheran Preschool in Lockhart. Her hobbies included ceramics, embroidery, gardening, flowers and tending to here family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Siemering will be missed not only by her family and friends, but by the many children she nurtured over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cathy Gideon, and brother, George Bible.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Johnny Siemering; daughters, Virginia Hughes and husband, Bill, and Peggy Germer and husband, Bruce; brother-in-law, Mike Gideon; and brother, Jimmy Wilson, all of Lockhart; sister, Ima Williams of San Marcos; six grandchildren, Michael Wayne Gideon, John Richard Gideon, George Travis Gideon, David Travis Hughes, Misty Ann Germer and Bruce Edward Germer; and seven great-grandchildren, Kristen Gideon, Kellie Gideon, Coy Gideon, Brendon Gideon, Jacob Gideon and Virginia Hughes.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Siemering’s name may be made to the Ebenezer Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 95, Maxwell, Texas 78656, and the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Austin Chapter, 3429 Executive Center Dr., Ste. 100, Austin, Texas 78731.
Family received friends Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007 at McCurdy Memorial Chapel. Funeral services were Friday, Aug. 3, 2007 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church with Re. Craig Gabriel officiating. Pallbearers were John Gideon, David Hughes, Michael Gideon, Joey Schmidli, Kenneth Niemann, B.J. Germer and Sonny Schmidt. Interment followed at Martindale Cemetery.
