Donald Eugene Hill

Donald Eugene Hill, 77, passed away in Luling, Texas, on Feb. 2, 2012.

He was born in Kansas City, Mo., to Glenn Hill and Carrie Rebecca Huston on Aug. 29, 1934.

Mr. Hill married Leslie Ann Slater on April 18, 1995. He spent his work life as an analyst at the Texas Employment Commission, and attended the University of Texas at Austin.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie

Slater Hill, of Luling; his daughter, Deanna Michelle Walden and husband, Jason, of Lakehills, Texas; and grandchildren, Jonathan Jason Walden and Michelle Hannah Walden, of Lakehills.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, Lester Glenn Hill.

A graveside service was held on Feb. 7, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Luling City Cemetery.
