Donald K. Hodge

MSgt. Donald K. Hodge, USAF (Ret.), of Dale, Texas, passed away in Austin on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at the age of 77.

Donald was born on Feb. 4, 1938, to the late Cecil and Ardis Cummings Hodge in Mound, Texas. He attended school in Gatesville graduating in 1956.

After high school he attended Baylor University before joining the United States Air Force in 1960 and serve

d for 20 years. He then began his second career in Austin working for Motorola. He married Margaret Mobley on June 21, 1961.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Vincent Hodge.

Donald is survived by his wife, Margaret Hodge; son, Gary Mensch and wife, Charlotte; daughter, Shari Langridge; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Gravesides Services were scheduled 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at Restland Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be before the service from 10 a.m. – noon at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville, Texas.
