Chris was born in Corpus Christi, Texas Oct. 12,1937 and passed away at his home in Port Aransas on Oct. 12, 2007.
Chris graduated from Lockhart High School in 1955 then from A&I University in 1962. He taught biology at Calallen High School from 1962 until the fall of 1967 when the lure of fishing led him to take a teaching position at Port Aransas, and later a te

aching principal”s job in the middle school at Port Aransas. His career at Port Aransas as an educator was from the fall of 1967 until the spring of 1995 when he retired.
He was a member of the Port Aransas Boatman, Inc., and the president of it in 1985. He was a boat captain for many years and was inducted into the Port Aransas Boatman, Inc., Hall of Fame. He touched many lives as an educator and boat captain throughout the Gulf coast and beyond. He will be deeply missed by many.
He is survived by Joann Stephens Page, his former wife and dear friend; one son, John Page of San Antonio; one daughter Leslie McBee of Euless; a brother Robert Page and wife June of Alvin; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday Nov. 3, 2007 at the Rhodes Memorial Pavilion at Roberts Point Park, Port Aransas.
