The idea of purchasing nearly $5 million in certificates of obligation (COs) this year left the Lockhart City Council divided during their regular meeting on Tuesday evening.

Regional growth dominated the discussion during the regular meeting of the Caldwell Commissioners’ Court on Monday.

Williams found guilty on 4 drug charges
A Caldwell County jury found John Tomack Williams, 26, guilty of four felony charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver on Friday morning after a week-long trial in front of District Judge Jack Robison. A Mustang Ridge man remains in intensive care this week after being stabbed at his home in rural Caldwell County.
