John Martin

John Edward Martin passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, in Sanderson, Texas at the age of 77 years. John was born on June 1, 1938, to Johnny Martin and Nora Bell McCarty in Thompsonville, Texas. He resided in Sanderson for 31 years.

John is survived by his four sons: Scotty Martin and wife, Donna, of Luling, Leonard Martin and wife, Brenda, of Luling, Rusty Martin and wife, Ama

nda, of Rosanky, and Randy Martin and wife, Manell, of Luling; two daughters, Stephanie Hughes and husband, Joseph, of Sherman, and Kim Bizik and husband, Dave, of Yuma, Ariz.; two sisters, Anabelle Martin, of San Antonio, and Ruby Phillips, of Lockhart; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

John is preceded in death by his father and mother, Johnny and Nora Bell Martin; his brother, Andrew Martin; sister, Bonnie Walenta.

There will be a private service on a future date.
