Lawerence Junior Scrivner, 64, passed away peacefully at his residence Tuesday, July 17, 2007 surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born on October 7, 1942 to Elsie Kidd Scrivner and Victor Lewis Scrivner in Kilburn, La. He worked all his life in the construction business as a self-employed painter supervisor.
Lawerence married the love of his life, Phyllis

Morrow, in Pine Bluff, Ark., on June 15, 1962 and they have been married for over 45 years. He has lived in the Bastrop County area for more than 20 years and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Red Rock. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his children Victor and his wife Malissa Scrivner of Harwood, Michael and his wife Suzan Scrivner of Red Rock, and Tony and his wife Brandy Scrivner of Lockhart; one brother, Victor Therlow Scrivner of Watson Chapel, Ark.; grandchildren: Jeremy, Angelica, Felicia, Tony Lee, Dustin, Collin, Wesley, Justin, Jeffery, Zena and Tasha; and six great-grandchildren.
A visitation was held at noon on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Eeds Funeral Home Chapel in Lockhart, Texas. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, July 21, at the Eeds Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Miller of the Grace Baptist Church officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Jeremy Scrivner, Trevor Lange, Josh McAlister, Andy Bell, Ted Hollingsworth, and Ollie Hill. Burial followed immediately at the Bateman Cemetery in Bateman, Texas.
