NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at 7:00 PM in the Glosserman Room at City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public comments regarding a proposed ordinance amending Chapter 64 ??

?Zoning”, of the Lockhart Code of Ordinances, Article VII “Zoning Districts and Standards”, Section 64-196 “Establishment of Zoning Districts”, Subsection (a), to add a provision clarifying the process for determining whether a use not listed in any district would be appropriate, either by-right or as a specific use, in one or more districts.

 

The City of Lockhart City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at

7:30 PM in the City Council Chamber, 3rd floor of the Clark Library–Masonic Building, 217 South Main Street, Lockhart, Texas, to consider this zoning text amendment, public comments, and the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

 

All interested persons wishing to state their support or opposition may do so at either of these public hearings; or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner or his designee for presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission and/or City Council before the time the public hearing begins. Additional information is available from the City Planner at the telephone number listed below, or in person at the Planning Department in City Hall.
