PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Lockhart Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Monday,

March 7, 2016, at 6:30 P.M. in the lower level of City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public input regarding the following:

 

FV-16-01. Consider a request by Gary Duran, for a Variance to t

he Lockhart Code of Ordinances, Chapter 12 “Buildings and Building Regulations”, Article VIII “Fences”, Section 12-486(b) “Prohibited Materials” and Section 12-490 “Residential Districts”, to allow a barbed wire fence in the front yard setback on property zoned RMD Residential Medium Density District, and consisting of 15.2 acres in the Byrd Lockhart League, Abstract-17, located at 1205 Lovers Lane.

 

All interested persons owning property within 200 feet of this property who wish to state their support or opposition may do so at this Public Hearing, or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner for presentation to the Zoning Board of Adjustment at or before the time the public hearing begins.

 

Should any person be aggrieved by the Board’s decision, a written petition for appeal stating that the decision of the Board is illegal in whole or in part and specifying the grounds of the illegality, may be presented to a court of record within ten calendar days after the minutes of the meeting are approved by Board.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the 2011 USDA RD Water System Improvements Project will be received by Tri-Community Water Supply Corporation at the TCWSC office at 92 Ward Street, (Corner of County Road 268 & 271), P. O. Box 11, Fentress, Texas 78622 until 10:00 AM – Contract A, 10:30 AM – Contract B & 11:00 AM – Contract C on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at which times the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing Water System Improvements.

Separate Bids will be received for:

Contract A – Water Wells: Drilling two shallow river bank water wells, three submersible turbine pumps and plugging and abandoning one shallow river bank well;

Contract B – Water Plant Improvements: Installation of three series of cartridge filters, electrical and control and site work for operation of three water wells;

Contract C – Water Lines: Construction of approx. 16,600 feet of 8-inch and approx. 3,300 feet of 12-inch water lines and appurtenances.

Bids shall be on a lump sum basis for Contract A, lump sum and unit price basis for Contract B, and on unit price basis for Contract C as indicated in the Bid Form.
