Caldwell County Elections Office will be issuing Elections Identification Certificates to those that do not have proper ID for the upcoming Election.

Secretary of State and the Department of Public Safety will help on Oct. 1, 2014 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 1403 Blackjack St., Lockhart, TX 7864

THE STATE OF TEXAS: TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF JOYCE LaVERNE JOHNSTON RAINS., PROBATE CAUSE NO. 9960, COUNTY COURT AT LAW CALDWELL COUNTY, TEXAS

 

Karen Gail Rains Holliday, in the above numbered and entitled estate filed an Application for Probate of Will Produced in Court and for Letters Testamentary and for Determination of Heirship, of the said JOYCE LaVERNE JOHNSTON RAINS, Deceased, and their respective shares and interests in this estate.

 

Said application will be heard and acted on by said Court a 10 o’ clock A.M. on the first Monday next the expiration of ten days from date of publication of this citation, at the County Courthouse in Lockhart, Texas.

 

All persons interested in said estate are hereby cited to appear before said Honorable Court at said above mentioned time and place by filing a written answer contesting such application should they desire to do so.

 

The officer executing this writ shall promptly serve the same according to requirements of law, and the mandates hereof, and make due return as the law directs.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Martindale will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Council Meeting Room at 411 Main Street, Martindale, TX 78655 in regard to the submission of an application to the Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs for a Texas Community Development Block Grant Program (TxCDBG) grant. The purpose of this meeting is to allow citizens an opportunity to discuss the citizen participation plan, the development of local housing and community development needs, the amount of TxCDBG funding available, all eligible TxCDBG activities, and the use of past TxCDBG funds. The City encourages citizens to participate in the development of this TxCDBG application and to make their views known at this public hearing. Citizens unable to attend this meeting may submit their views and proposals to Thomas L. Forrest, City Administrator, at the Martindale City Hall. Persons with disabilities that wish to attend this meeting should contact City Hall to arrange for assistance. Individuals who require auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact City Hall at least two days before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
