A Public Hearing before the Construction Board of Appeals for the City of Lockhart will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 9:00am in the Glosserman Room of City Hall, 308 W. San Antonio St. Lockhart, Texas to determine if the below listed property(s) are Unsafe Building(s) and/or a Public Nuisance according to Sec

12-448 of the Code of Ordinances for the City of Lockhart, TX. All interested parties are urged to attend this Public Hearing.

Property Address: 1211 N. Pecos St., Legal Description: A017 Lockhart, Byrd, Acres .075, S/2. Violations noted: 1, & 4 of the list below.

Property Address: 411 E. Live Oak St., Legal Description: O.T. Lockhart, Block 42, Lot 2/3 7. Violations noted: 1, 3, & 4 of the list below.

Property Address: 721 Hardeman St. Legal Description: Schuler Addn, Block 1, Lot 13, 14. Violations noted: 1, 3, & 4 of the list below.

Violation List

Any unoccupied structure regardless of its structural condition that has two or more of these deficiencies:

1. Has not been occupied for the immediate past five (5) years, as evidenced by utility connection records.

2. Unoccupied and is primarily used for storage.

3. Does not have an electric meter base and/or loop that meet the current code requirements.

4. Have windows and/or doors of the structure that are boarded up.

Any combination of two (2) or more of these deficiencies makes the structure an unsafe building and/or a public nuisance subject to this code section.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

The City of Lockhart, Texas, seeks proposals from qualified Construction Managers to provide Construction Manager-At-Risk (CMR) services using the one-step process authorized by Section 2267.251 of the Texas Local Government Code for the Restoration and Expansion of the historic Dr. Eugene Clark Library, 211 S. Main St., Lockhart, Texas.

Copies of the RFP will be available beginning Thursday, April 5, 2012 and may be picked up at City Hall, 308 W. San Antonio St., Lockhart, Texas during normal business hours upon submission of $50.00 per copy for the RFP and one set of plans.

Sealed envelope responses marked “Library RFP” must be submitted to the City Manager, City of Lockhart, P O Box 239, Lockhart, Texas 78644 or delivered to 308 W. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, during normal business hours and will be accepted until 2:00 pm Local Time, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at City Hall.

Box 120, Lockhart, TX 78644.  No faxed or emailed proposals will be accepted.  Lockhart ISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
