NOTICE OF

APPLICATION FOR OIL AND GAS

WASTE DISPOSAL WELL PERMIT

 

Eagle Energy Acquisitions LP, 333 Clay Street, Suite 3005, Houston, Texas  77002 is applying to the Railroad Commission of Texas for a permit to dispose of produced salt water or other oil and gas waste, including hydrogen sulfide, by wel

l injection into a porous formation not productive of oil or gas.  The applicant proposes to dispose of oil and gas waste into the Lower Edwards Formation, Moses & Baggett Lease, Well Number 1SW.  The proposed disposal well is located 4.4 miles northeast of Luling, Texas in the Salt Flat (Edwards) Field, in Caldwell County.  The waste water will be injected into strata in the subsurface depth interval from 2850 to 3300 feet.

 

LEGAL AUTHORITY:  Chapter 27 of the Texas Water Code, as amended, Title 3 of the Texas Natural Resources Code, as amended, and the Statewide Rules of the Oil and Gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.

 

Requests for a public hearing from persons who can show they are adversely affected, or requests for further information concerning any aspect of the application should be submitted in writing, within fifteen days of publication, to the Environmental Services Section, Oil and Gas Division, Railroad Commission of Texas, P.O. NOTICE OF PERMIT

APPLICATION FOR

IRRIGATION  WELL

Keith Tuch, 1337 State Hwy 97 East, Gonzales, Texas has submitted a permit application to the Gonzales County Underground Water Conservation District (GCUWCD) to install a water well for irrigation use. The proposed well is located approximately 2.8 miles northeast of the City of Gonzales at 1387 State Hwy 97 East in Gonzales County. Mr. Tuch proposes to produce approximately 250 acre feet of water per year at an average rate of approximately 155 gallons per minute on 250 acres of contiguous land.  The well is completed in the Carrizo Aquifer.

 

The GCUWCD Rules in effect at the time of this permit application submittal are the March  16, 2010 Rules. Permit notice and hearing procedures are included in Rule 24. Copies of the GCUWCD”s March 16, 2010 rules are available at the GCUWCD office located at 920 Saint Joseph Street, Room 129, Gonzales, Texas 78629 or online at the GCUWCD website www.gcuwcd.org. Interested persons may provide written comments to the GCUWCD on the proposed irrigation well permit application. Written comments should be filed within thirty (30) days of the date of publication of this notice and in accordance with Rule 24 of the rules of the GCUWCD. Comments should be submitted to the GCUWCD”s General Manager at 920 Saint Joseph, Room 129, P.O. Box 1919, Gonzales, Texas 78629.

 

Where no comments are received by the District and the General Manager determines the application meets all relevant District rules, a public hearing is not required and the Board may act on the permit application at a Board meeting .

PUBLIC BID

The City of Lockhart is receiving bids until 11 am, Thursday, August 15, 2013, at City Hall, 308 W San Antonio St, Lockhart, Texas 78644, for maintenance preparation and hot mix overlay of approximately 8,000 square yards of existing roads and parking areas within City Park. Bids submitted must include all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials. Successful bidder must provide proof of workers compensation and general liability insurance naming the City of Lockhart as an additional insured.

Bids not received by the time and date specified will be returned unopened.

 

Bid package for this maintenance project can be picked up at City Hall during normal business hours. Questions may be directed to Vance Rodgers at 512-398-3461.

 

The City of Lockhart reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Caldwell County will be soliciting and accepting proposals for “Invitation for Bids # 00011 Building Restoration, Repair, and Painting of Main Office of Caldwell County Tax Assessor-Collector” for labor, equipment, and materials to complete specified work on Tax Assessor-Collector office at 100 E. Market Street, Lockhart Texas.  Proposals are due on or before 2:30 PM, 22nd , August, 2013 to Marie Cavanagh with Caldwell County Judge’s office at 110 S.
