Lockhart Independent School District (LISD) solicits sealed proposals for athletic and student insurance. Specifications may be obtained from Michelle Wylie, at LISD, 105 South Colorado, P.O. Box 120, Lockhart, Texas 78644, or by calling 512-398-0019. Proposals will be accepted

by mail or delivered at 105 South Colorado, Lockhart, until the opening on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. CST. LISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any irregularities.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 7:00 P.M. in the lower level of City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public input regarding the following:

SUP-15-08. A request by Philip Ducloux for a Specific Use Permit to allow a Mixed Use Building on Part of Lot 1, Block 13, Original Town of Lockhart, consisting of approximately 0.05 acre zoned CCB Commercial Central Business District and located at 102 East Market Street.

All interested persons owning property within 200 feet of this property who wish to state their support or opposition may do so at this Public Hearing; or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner or his designee for presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission at or before the time the Public Hearing begins. NOTICE

CITY OF MARTINDALE

TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT

PROGRAM

The City of Martindale will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on June 16, 2015, at City Hall, 409 Main Street, Martindale, Texas regarding the submission of an application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for a Texas Community Development Block Grant Program (TxCDBG) grant. The purpose of this meeting is to allow citizens an opportunity to discuss the citizen participation plan, the development of local housing and community development needs, the amount of TxCDBG funding available, all eligible TxCDBG activities, and the use of past TxCDBG funds. The City encourages citizens to participate in the development of this TxCDBG application and to make their views known at this public hearing. Citizens unable to attend this meeting may submit their views and proposals to the City Administrator Tom Forrest or City clerk Sylvia Gomez at City Hall. Persons with disabilities that wish to attend this meeting should contact the City Hall to arrange for assistance. Individuals who require auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact the City Hall at least two days before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Request for Bids

The City of Lockhart is receiving bids until11:00 a.m. Monday, June 29th, 2015, at City Hall, 308 W. San Antonio Street, for the following:

 

To trim trees at locations specified away from 7200 volt primary lines, 220 volt residential secondary services, and commercial businesses services, to a minimum of three feet (3 ft) unless approved by the Electric Superintendent. The contractor must provide sufficient signage, supervision, 3 personnel, reliable equipment, at least a 55 ft bucket truck and any required materials to trim, clean all saw blades before next tree cut, paint, chip limbs and clean up areas. Contractors must find a stationery site to park equipment and place materials if needed. Contractor must provide proof of general liability insurance and workers’ compensation insurance naming the City of Lockhart as a co-insured entity. Contractor must follow Ansi A Standard rules.

 

Bid general specifications package may be picked up at City Hall located at 308 West San Antonio Street during normal business hours or obtained on the City of Lockhart website.

 

Bids may be mailed or delivered to 308 West San Antonio St., Lockhart, and Tx. 78644. Envelopes containing bids should be externally marked “Tree Trimming”. Bids not received by the stated date and time above will be returned unopened. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals from Contractors furnishing all permits, materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete a new primary 480Y/277 electrical service to the Lockhart High school site at 906 Center Street.

 

Lockhart ISD will accept proposals from Contractors until 2:00 P.M. June 25, 2015 at the District’s Administrative Offices located at 105 S. Colorado St., Lockhart, TX 78644.

 

Proposal bid documents, including drawings and specifications are available from the District office, contact Tanya Homann at 512-398-0052.

A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the high school construction trailers on June 11, 2015 at 1:30 pm. Attendance is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals from General Contractors furnishing all permits, materials, labor, tools and equipment necessary to complete a new 58,200 square foot Lockhart ISD Elementary School which will be located at 9000 FM 1185 in Lytton Springs, Texas on approximately 20 acres. It will feature Pre-K thru 5th grade classrooms for 500 students, music room, 2 art/science classrooms, library, activity center, cafeteria and a learning courtyard. The substantial completion date will be August 8, 2016.

 

Lockhart ISD will accept proposals from Contractors until 2:00 P.M. July 9, 2015 at the District’s Administrative Offices located at 105 S. Colorado St., Lockhart, TX 78644.

The Caldwell County Appraisal District (“District”) invites sealed bids pursuant to Texas Government Chapter 2269, Subchapter C to construct a new District headquarters building.
