The Housing Authority of the City of Lockhart, Texas has developed its Agency Plan in compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. It is available for review at the Housing Authority’s Office located at 809 Redwood, Lockhart, Texas between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. In addition, a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Everyone is invited.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that Caldwell County ESD #2 will receive sealed bids via hard copy or email in the Office of Gallup Engineering located at 2019 Clovis Barker Road, Suite A-105, San Marcos, Texas 78666 (anne@gallupengineering.com), up to June 2nd at 12:00 pm, for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work necessary for the construction of a new 2,480 s.f. metal building and concrete foundation and additional concrete slabs (2,686 s.f.) to be located at the Maxwell Community Fire Department at 9655 Highway 142 in Maxwell, Texas. Bids will be opened on June 2nd at 3 pm at the Maxwell Fire Station, 9655 Highway 142. Bid will be awarded on June 5th at the regular meeting of the board of Caldwell County ESD #2 at 7:30 pm at the Maxwell Fire Station, 9655 Highway 142.

 

Bidders may bid on entire work description or parts of the work description. Bids will be submitted using lump sum pricing. Payment for the work will be issued upon percentage completion of the work. Work is to be completed 120 days after bid contract acceptance.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LOCKHART, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 64 “ZONING” OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, ARTICLE III “NONCONFORMANCE” TO IMPROVE THE CLARITY AND CONSISTENCY OF 1) SECTION 64-61, PERTAINING TO NONCONFORMING USES; 2) SECTION 64-62, PERTAINING TO NONCONFORMING BUILDINGS; 3) SECTION 64-63, PERTAINING TO NONCONFORMING LOTS; AND, 4) SECTION 64-64, PERTAINING TO MOBILE HOMES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING A REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Penalty: Any person who violates any provision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined as provided in Section 1-8 of the City Code.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE LOCKHART CITY COUNCIL AMENDING SUBSECTION (e) OF CHAPTER 12, BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS, SECTION 12-449, HEARING PROCEDURES, ARTICLE VII, UNSAFE AND/OR PUBLIC NUISANCE BUILDING ABATEMENT, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES REGARDING APPEALS TO DECISIONS OF THE CONSTRUCTION BOARD OF APPEALS INVOLVING UNSAFE AND/OR NUISANCE BUILDING ABATEMENTS TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL CODE AND REGARDING OTHER APPEALS TO DECISIONS BY THAT BOARD; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Structural Steel for Connector – Clark

Library Phase II

The City of Lockhart is receiving sealed bids at 308 W. San Antonio Street Lockhart TX 78644, until 10am on May 22nd, 2014, from qualified individuals and/or companies for fabrication and installation of the structural steel for the Connector only at the Lockhart Public Library. Bids submitted must be good for 120 days. Sealed bid envelopes should be marked “Connector Steel”. Proof of general liability and worker’s compensation coverage naming the City of Lockhart as an additional insured will be required before final award.

All bids must include all materials and labor required to finish the job per specs and plans available. In your bid, please include the time scope of completion and projected start date.

Plan sets and specifications may be downloaded from the City of Lockhart website at www.lockhart-tx.org under Clark Library Phase II or viewed at 215 Bufkin St. in Lockhart, TX during business hours.
