PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Lockhart Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 1, 2012, at 6:30 P.M. in the lower level of City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public input regarding the following:

 

FV-12-02.  A request by the Doug and Shari Foster for a Variance to Chapter 12 “Buildings and Building Regulations”, Article VIII “Fences”, Section 12-490(4), Lockhart Code of Ordinances, to reduce the minimum required side setback, for a fence on a corner lot from 8 feet to 7 feet, for a fence to be constructed on Lot 12, La Feliciana Subdivision, located at 1314 Clear Fork Street.

 

All interested persons owning property within 200 feet of this property who wish to state their support or opposition may do so at this Public Hearing, or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner for presentation to the Zoning Board of Adjustment at or before the time the public hearing begins.

 

Should any person be aggrieved by the Board’s decision, a written petition for appeal stating that the decision of the Board is illegal in whole or in part and specifying the grounds of the illegality, may be presented to a court of record within ten calendar days after the minutes of the meeting are approved by Board.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR OIL AND GAS

WASTE DISPOSAL WELL PERMIT

 

Eagle Energy Acquisitions LP, 333 Clay Street, Suite 3005, Houston, Texas  77002 is applying to the Railroad Commission of Texas for a permit to dispose of produced salt water or other oil and gas waste, including hydrogen sulfide, by well injection into a porous formation not productive of oil or gas.  The applicant proposes to dispose of oil and gas waste into the Lower Edwards Formation, Addie Hinds Lease, Well Number 1SW.  The proposed disposal well is located 6.2 miles Northeast of Luling, Texas in the Salt Flat (Edwards) Field, in Caldwell County.  The waste water will be injected into strata in the subsurface depth interval from 2914 to 3540 feet.

 

LEGAL AUTHORITY:  Chapter 27 of the Texas Water Code, as amended, Title 3 of the Texas Natural Resources Code, as amended, and the Statewide Rules of the Oil and Gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.

The applicant proposes to inject  fluid  into  the  Edwards formation, Bunch, Joe  lease, well number 10W. The well is located  6 miles Southeast  of Lockhart in the Luling –Brany-on  field    in  Caldwell County.

Fluid   will  be    injected    into strata in the subsurface depth  depth   interval  from 2,600 to 3,300 feet.
