Lions vs. Vista Ridge

The Lockhart Lion varsity baseball team defeated Vista Ridge, 3-2, in a district match up on Friday, April 15.
Clay Ohlendorf pitched the entire game to gain the victory for the Lions.
Wes Selman led off the scoring for the Lions with a home run in the first inning. Michael Schulle led off the second inning with a single, and he was a

dvanced to second on a sacrifice bunt from Steve Gonzales. Schulle scored when Dennis Ortiz hit a single to bring him home.
The score was tied 2-2 in the fifth inning when Michael Wright drove in the go ahead run as Dennis Ortiz crossed the plate to take the lead for good.
That would compete the scoring for the night.
Lockhart currently stands at 4-4 for district play, and their next home game will be Saturday, April 23, against Connally.

Lions vs. Elgin

The Lockhart Lion varsity baseball team lost a district game to Elgin 11-1 in five innings on Tuesday, April 12.
Lockhart was never able to get anything going on offense the entire night, and was held to three hits.
Steve Gonzales scored the only run for Lockhart off a hit from Edward Fernandez.
The defeat was Lockhart fourth district lost of the season.
