Anna Carrasco Gutierrez passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on March 24, 2014. Anna was born on Oct. 16, 1949, to Jesus and Eugenia Carrasco in Abilene, Texas.

She grew up and spent most of her young life in Midland, Texas. She married Augustin Gutierrez on Sept. 4, 1971 in Odessa, Texas, and from there she traveled for many years due to his line of work. After his retirement they settled in Dale, Texas, in 1992. Throughout her life Anna devoted much time to her Catholic Faith including being a CCD teacher and spending nearly 20 years as secretary at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lockhart, Texas.

Anna was preceded in in death by her father, Jesus; brother Jesus Jr.; and daughter, Connie Michelle. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Augustin; her daughter, Monica Gutierrez; her son, Andres Gutierrez; her mother, Eugenia (Mary) Carrasco; three grandsons, Luke, Noah and Nicholas; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation with the tramadol buy family will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:30 p.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, March 28, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
