Charlotte G. Cordell
Charlotte Gayle Cordell, of Lytton Springs, Texas, was born to Joe C. and Lohma Belle Miller on Sept. 12, 1947 and gained her wings the night of May 7. 2016. She would have been 69 this year.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Alton Cordell and her sister, Lohma Jo Ritcheson.
She was an incredible woman who had won an intense battle with cancer just a
few years prior. She was known for the enormous amount of love she had for her family, love of crossword puzzles, and enjoyment of her trips to town with her children and grandchildren. She always had a warm shoulder to cry on, a ready laugh and open arms.
Her memory will be forever carried on in the hearts and minds of her children, Leona Carmack, Melissa Cordell, Joshua Cordell, Jesse Cordell and Jeremiah Cordell; along with her ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and all the others she graced her presence with. Fly high pretty girl, you may be gone from this world but you will never be forgotten.

Visitation for Charlotte G. Cordell will be held from 10 a.m. – noon on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart. Graveside service will follow at the Lytton Springs Cemetery at 1 p.m., where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
