Dora Martin

Miss Dora Martin, of Columbus, Texas, formerly of Lockhart, Texas went to be with her Lord, on March 11, 2008.
She was born on Sept. 26, 1908, in Gillett, Texas to the late Duffie and Eureka Billings Martin.
She was a lifelong member of The First Lockhart Baptist Church, and owned an operated a beauty salon until her retirement in 1975.
She is preceded in d

eath by her parents; two brothers; four sisters, and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were under the direction of McCurdy Funeral Home, 105 E. Pecan St. Lockhart, Texas. A viewing was held on Friday, March 14, 2008, and graveside services were at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2008, in Lockhart City Cemetery with Rev. Gary Rodgers officiating.
