Dorothy Salge Norman, “Mimi”, was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was born September 14, 1920  in Lockhart, Texas and departed this life on May 30, 2018 after a brief illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents (Ella and Otto Salge), brother (Sonny), husband (Ross, Sr.), son (Ross Jr. “Bill”) and granddaughter (Melissa Mathis). Dorothy is survived by her triplet children Nancy, Phillip and Michael; daughter in-law, Heloise “Sis” Norman, grandchildren Michele Munger (Alan), Susan Lobit, Robert Lobit II, Ross Norman III “Trey” (Molly), Auggie Mathis (Holly),  Andrew Norman (Ashley), James Norman (Sharon), Anne Marie Wakefield (David); great grandchildren Ryan and Reid Munger, William Mathis, Ross William Norman IV “Cort”, Remington Norman, Kendal and Ethan Lobit, Grant and Henry Norman.

Dorothy embraced life to the fullest as a devout Christian. She always had a warm smile and connected with everyone she met.  Mimi loved family and friends to visit at the Rockport beach home. She especially enjoyed introducing grandchildren and great-grandchildren to crabbing from a pier.

Her memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Lockhart on Saturday, June 9, 2018, beginning at 1:30pm. Floral tributes are appreciated as Dorothy loved flowers. Memorial donations may be given to the First United Methodist Church Lockhart, American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
