Duncan Albert McEachern, 66, of Lockhart, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Duncan was preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Jimmie McEachern; brothers, Bill and Kenneth McEachern; and wife of 32 years, Trudy Koehler McEachern.

Duncan and Trudy are survived by their three children:  Dede, Carol and James; and their ten grandchildren: Jordan, Sierra, Jesse, Jacob, A

manda, Haylie, Jeremiah, James, Mitchel and Nathan.  Duncan is also survived by several brothers and sisters:  Harold McEachern, of Dripping Springs, Francis Morrow, of La Porte, Scooter McEachern, of Dixon, Mo.; and Barbara Ferguson, of Crowley.

Duncan worked for the State of Texas Highway Department for 30 years, lastly as the Assistant Foreman for the sign shop.  He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

He hated being “cooped up inside,” and therefore graveside services were scheduled at Lockhart Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, with Pastor John Berryhill of Manchaca Baptist Church officiating. Serving as the pallbearers will be: Chad Franks, John McEachern, Allen McEachern, Jordon McEachern, Brandon Ferguson and Matthew Dill.

Visitation was scheduled at at Eeds Funeral Home in Lockhart, Texas, from 8 a.m. – 5 p. m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24. All arrangements were with Eeds Funeral Home, 408 S. Main St., Lockhart, Texas 78644. (512) 398-2343.
