Our beloved Encarnacion “Eddie” Tamayo, III., 69, resident of Austin and Lockhart was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 30, 2016. He was born July 7, 1946.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Encarnacion Tamayo, Sr. and Consuelo Esquivel Tamayo; his brother, Samuel Tamayo; and sister, Carmen Moreno.
He is survived by his loving sons, Kenneth “Kenny??

? Tamayo and Vincent “Andy” Tamayo; seven grandchildren: Johnathon Tamayo, Matthew De Leon, Nicolas Camacho, Encarnacion “Eddie” Tamayo IV, Kenneth “Lil’ Kenny” Tamayo, Jr., Deslyn Breille Bonner, and Andi Jay Tamayo; his brothers and sisters: Albert (Lupe) Tamayo, Vivian (Guadalupe) Carrizales, Mary (Julio) Moreno, Irma Tamayo, Thomas Tamayo, Patricia (Martin) Benavides, Anthony (Frances) Tamayo, David Tamayo, James Tamayo, Richard (Esther) Tamayo, Leonard (Nancy) Tamayo, Priscilla Tamayo, Nicholas (Misty) Tamayo, and William (Cynthia) Tamayo; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He also considered his grandchildren Jennifer Ramirez Ulrich and Roy LaFuente.
Visitation began at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016, with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South First St. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016, at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Ave, Austin, Texas. Interment followed at St. Mary of the Visitation Cemetery, Lockhart, Texas.
