Francisco “Frankie” T. Rodriguez, a resident of Maxwell, was called to his eternal rest on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at the age of 23. Frankie was preceded in death by his grandfather, Francisco F. Rodriguez.
Born Sept. 26, 1987, in Lockhart, Frankie was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin, who graced the whole family and many friends with his presence of life and love. He will always be in our hearts and his eternal love will never be forgotten.
Frankie is survived by his loving wife of 14 months, Vanessa V. Rodriguez; parents, Joe Phillip and Alma Rodriguez; brother, Michael Rodriguez; sister, Alicia Rodriguez; grandparents, Tomas, Jr., and Elena Parra, and Gregoria Rodriguez; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
During his short life, he enjoyed being in the presence of family and friends, whether it be playing basketball, card games or video games. He had a love for cars, animals, taking adventurous rides on his motorcycle and fishing anywhere he could.
Frankie was active at St. Mary’s in Lockhart and many surrounding parishes. He was also a devoted employee of Glosserman Chevrolet in Lockhart.
Rosary was held on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at St. Mary’s Church. Mass was held on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at St. Mary’s Church followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lockhart, Texas.
Pallbearers included Michael Rodriguez, Alicia Rodriguez, Patrick Deleon, Zachary Deleon, Jesse Deleon, Rick Martinez, Jason Buehring and Derrick Tullous.
