Frank Wilson Crittenden passed away peacefully at Christopher House in Austin, Texas, on Sept. 6, 2015, at the age of 67.

He was a loving husband of 38 years to Terrie Ann Webb Crittenden, a devoted, caring father to Laurel Ashleigh Crittenden, and a proud, doting grandfather to Bailey Ann Palacios.

He is survived by his precious mother, Peggy Crittenden; sister, Carolyn

Daigre; brothers, Donny and Jimmy; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, DM Crittenden.

Frank was born on July 30, 1948, in Ft. Worth, Texas. He graduated from Northside High School where he was a Straight “A” student and a member of DECA. He went on to Tarrant County Junior College and received an Associate’s Degree Applied Science.

Frank began his life-long career in industrial sales working for Briggs Weaver. He went on to work for Alamo Iron Works, Rex, MSC, and Robert Severance Co. Frank was an avid history buff and enjoyed learning about WWII. He became involved in the Lytton Springs community by becoming a volunteer fireman from 1985-1999, working as an election judge, and was active in the Lytton Springs Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held at McCurdy”s Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. There will be a funeral service at the Lytton Springs Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015. Following the service, a fellowship meal will be served.

If desired, donations in memory of Frank can be made to the Lytton Springs Baptist Church.

    I’m glad you made it home. I saw a beautiful rainbow this evening & wondered how pretty heaven must be. I’ll miss you brother, friend, & neighbor, but I’ll see you later. Thanks for the pleasure of just knowing you.
