Mr. Lupe Ramirez, 61, of Dale, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2004. Recitation of the rosary was at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at the DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral mass was celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at St. John Catholic Church in San Marcos. Burial follow

Mr. Ramirez is survived by his wife, Mary L. Ramirez, of Dale, daughters, Cynthia Alonzo, and Melissa Flores, both of Lockhart, sisters, Estella Salas, Bertha Acosta, Esther Acosta, all of Lockhart, Paula Castaneda, of California, brothers, Trine Acosta, of Lockhart, and Santos Acosta, of Austin. 5 grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Johnny Salinas, Joe Rocha, Guadalupe Salgado, Hector Hernandez, Jimmy Moreno, and Chris Cruz.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were, Ricky Alonzo, Jr. and Joshua Flores.
