Jack W. Sughrue

Jack Warren Sughrue, Sr., 71, of Lockhart, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2009 in Austin. Mr. Sughrue was born to John and Irene (Gebhart) Sughrue on March 12, 1938, in Austin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Mr. Sughrue is survived by his wife of 51 years of marriage, Sharon Morehead Sughrue; sons: Jack, Jr. (Tricia),

Jeff (Leigh Ann), and George (Susan); daughters: Cheri Maxwell (Kelly), and Marta Sughrue; brother, Julius Sughrue; and sisters: Adelia Pagel, Shirley Ann Hill and Myrtle Warren. Mr. Sughrue was also blessed with eight grandchildren.

Family planned to accept friends beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at McCurdy Funeral Home. Funeral services were scheduled at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009, at McCurdy Memorial Chapel in Lockhart, with interment planned at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
