Our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Jackie Wade Woodworth, 78, of Dale, Texas passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 with family at his side.

He was born Sept. 17, 1937, in Austin, Texas and lived around the Austin area his entire life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, working with his hands, and watching Wes

terns.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ruby Joyce Woodworth; parents, Frank and Lena Woodworth; brothers, Joe Lee Woodworth and Art Woodworth; and sister Elnora Woodworth.

He is survived by his three sons: Jackie Wayne Woodworth and wife, Vickie, Gilbert Ray Woodworth, and Roger Dale Woodworth; two daughters, Wanda Joyce Carlisle-Selby and husband, Kim, and Nora Ilene Allen and husband, Gary; brother, Jerry Woodworth and wife, Judy; a special uncle, Charles Woodworth: sisters-in-law, Loma Woodworth, Betty White, and Lana Kemker and husband, Rick; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Pallbearers were grandsons: Jackie Woodworth Jr., Dennis Woodworth, Christopher Woodworth, Casey Carlisle, Kamron Selby, Brandon Allen, Bryce Allen, and Jimmy Guerrero.

Visitation was Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home in Austin, Texas.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel with Rev. Randy Frye officiating, followed by interment at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery in Cedar Creek, Texas.

Arrangements were under the care and guidance of Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress Ave., Austin, Texas 78704, (512) 442-1446.
