I knew Jim in his roles as police officer and student at St. Edward’s. He was a fine, sweet man, a pleasure to be around. Peace and grace to his family.

So long old friend. May you rest in peace. I’ll see you on the other side. You will surely be missed on this earth, but I know you are happy there. No pain, no suffering.

My prayers go out to the Beck Family. as your days will follow keep his precious memories alive. I met James at Poodie’s and he was always so very nice. I found out how nice when one night I was coming from Dripping Springs to go to Poodie”s and I was speeding. James didn’t stop me he just fallowed me to the club. At the club he drives up and told me how fast I was going and he told me to slow it down going home that he cared about me as a friend and would hate to have to come to a car that was wrecked and he would find me hurt or maybe even dead. From that day forward I have driven the speed limit. I put my car on cruise control and haven’t had a ticket or a wreck sense. And that was 10 years ago.For his kind words made a big susses story to me. I loved James so much for giving me good clean but to the point advice. He will be missed deeply. He turned out to be a true friend. I would run into him at Poodie’s or Backstage at the Willlie Nelson concerts he was like the part of Willies extended family. I will pass the word around about his passing Sandi Sharp Schulte

I did meet Him when I was around 8. He was painting the inside of Our Company owned House. We was talking about the Greenlee County Fair that weekend. We were talking about the Rides. I told him that none of them scared me. He said if we was out there on Saturday Night that he would take me on one that would scare me. My Friend Birdie was with me. He took us on the Hammer. When we got off the Ride My Mom asked him if I was scared. He said No she was laughing but the other Little Girl and I was scared. I will always remember that. He also told me while he was Painting that he was Friends with My Brother Gerald. Sorry it took me so long to remember. He told me when he posted on my Facebook Page what a Pretty Little Girl I was.
