Jean Stallings

Jean Stallings, 92, of Lockhart, Texas, passed away in her home on Nov. 9, 2004. She was born on Aug. 12, 1912 in Grand Rapids, Mich. to Frank M. Sterling and Elizabeth Josephine Calleward Sterling.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, James A. Caley; great-grand sons, Paul Bynum and Matthew Bynum.

She is survived by he

r grandchildren, Kathy Marquis, William Caley and Ann Caley; great-grandchildren, John Bynum, Caroline Poe, Naomi Bynum, Hill Caley and Gil Caley; three great-great-grandchildren; nephew, John (Jack) Rosenbalm and wife Carolyn; nieces, Tracy Patrick and husband Arnold, Margaret Guzaldo and husband Gary and Carrie Simmang; niece, Angel Anderson and husband Scott.
She was a former member of the Dorisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Ill., a member of the First Christian Church in Lockhart, the Irving Club, Joy Group and the Greater San Marcos Senior Group.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11 at McCurdy Funeral Home, Lockhart. Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 12 at McCurdy Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at the San Marcos City Cemetery in San Marcos with the Rev. Randy Frye officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Lockhart or Dorisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Ill.
