Jerome “Jerry” V. Miller
Jerry died peacefully in his home on Jan. 29, 2006, with his family by his side, after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Paula Kelley Miller, and son, Dallas David Miller, of Fentress.
Jerry was born in Billings, Mont. On Nov. 18, 1942. He grew up on farms in Montana and Nebraska. He graduated from Fargo Central High

School in Fargo, N. D. in 1961 and from the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, N.D. in 1965. Employed in the electronics industry in various capacities for 30 years, he retired in 1995 and was subsequently engaged in pecan farming near Fentress, Texas. He enjoyed working outdoors in his orchard and listening to music on his stereo system.
A memorial service was held at St. John”s Catholic Church in San Marcos on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at 1 p.m. Interment followed at the service at the San Marcos Cemetery.
