Jim Dannel Matthews, Sr.

Jim Dannel Matthews, Sr., 59, of Weatherford died Monday, Aug.15, 2005 in the local hospital.
Born July 4, 1946 in Mason, Texas, he was a resident of Weatherford for many years. Dannel graduated from Lockhart High School in 1964. He was the former manager for Grandy”s in Weatherford, the President, a coach and a referee for the Weatherford Soccer Association and a woo

dcrafter.
His survivors include: wife, Kathy Matthews of Weatherford; son, Jim Dannel Matthews, Jr. of Weatherford; father, Bryant Matthews of Lockhart; sisters, Melissa King of San Saba, Sara Cosper of Baltimore, Md. and Janet Matthews of Lockhart; and brothers, Stanley Matthews and Rusty Matthews of Lockhart.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 18 from 6 – 7 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Minister Ray White officiating.
