Leon Caudillo

Mr. Leon Caudillo was born in Staples, Texas on April 10, 1934. He passed away on Nov. 10, 2013.

He is survived by daughters, Diana Salas, Gloria Stedman and Esther Yanez; sons, Paul Caudillo, Rudy Caudillo and Ruben Caudillo; sister, Dolores Santiago; 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Rosary was scheduled at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at the DeLeon Fune

ral Home. Funeral Mass was planned at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Chosen as pallbearers were Jason E. Caudillo, Rudy J. Caudillo, Paul R. Caudillo, Robert L. Caudillo, Alan L. Dodson, Ciara B. Salas, and honorary pallbearer, Zachery Yanez.

Services were under the direction of Samuel J. DeLeon and Son/DeLeon Funeral Home 110 Cedar St. Lockhart, Texas 78644.

    My deepest condolences for your loss, I know no words could ever take away the pain you and your family is now experiencing, for I have been there myself. However, I’m praying that GOD provides you all peace to make it through each day until you are able to accept and move on without so much pain. Keep his memories alive with talks about him with friends/family, photos, etc. He will always be with you, and remember he is now a angel watching over you all daily. GOD BLESS

    So sorry we could not make it, but you were in my thoughts and
    prayers. Always remember the memories he left us and laughter
    and the delicious menudo he always made. Now he joins his sisters,
    wife,my dad, and Margo with open arms. I can just see them know
    all dancing. No more suffering.
