Lily Pearl Hill was born April 27, 1937. She was a wonderful woman of many talents and dreams that ended too soon. At an early age, Lily professed her faith in Christ, and was a member of First Baptist Church.
She married Joseph McAfee in 1958. She remarried to Edmond Hill on June 15, 1979. They were happily married for 25 years. No children were born in this union.

This happy union of 25 years came to an end on Oct. 8, 2004 and left Lily Pearl Hill a widow. Her dreams and ambitions will live on through her family.
She is gone to be reunited with her mother, father, husband and great-grandson in heaven. Lily P. Hill will be greatly missed and thought of everyday by her friends and family.
She is survived by her son Gregory McAfee (Gloria) of Lockhart; daughter Michelle Robbins of Lockhart; aunt, Corine Palmer (Grover) of Luling; grandchildren, Lamika Tucker (Mark) of Austin, Constance Robbins of Austin, Monique Robbins of Lockhart, Gregory McAfee, Jr., of Lockhart, , and Nevaeh Mcafee of Lockhart; step-granddaughter Kendra Carter of Lockhart; and great-grandchildren, Mark Tucker Jr., Malik Tucker and Malachi Tucker of Austin.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Hill were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2006, in the Eeds Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walker and Rev. Fleming officiating. Interment followed at the family plot in the Lockhart City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Colby Cotton, Larry James, Willie Coleman, Lain Lewis, Juan DeLeon and Lester Jackson.
