Linda loved her music and loved to dance. She truly did have “Happy Feet!” She was an excellent conga drum player, too.
She had a very tender heart for those in need and always tried to help others in whatever way she could. Linda was a woman of tremendous strength and character and will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Frank Freudiger; mother Joyce Bradley; brother Joe Freudiger, Jr; and nephew, John Freudiger. She is survived by her daughter, Tonja Voges Konet, and grandchildren, Christina Konet, Coral Rape, Sunny Garcia and Stevie Garcia. She is also survived by her sisters, Laura Freudiger Cherney, and Libby Wick (Randy); and nephews, Randall Wick, Kevin McCarty, Kyle McCarty and Joe Freudiger, III.
A special thank you to Linda Carpenter for taking such good care of Linda the last few months of her life and Roger Rape, a special angel in her life. They were both God sent, no doubt about it. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel.
