Lucian Ray Simpson of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Oct. 1, 2012, at the age of 82. He was born on Dec. 10, 1929, in Eric, Okla., to Benjamin Alexander and Bessie Barnet Simpson.
An air conditioning repairman by profession for Simpson and Son, which he founded, Lucian loved to spend time with his grandchildren and also loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mildred Simpson; two sons, Allan Simpson and wife, Carolyn Jane, of Flatonia and Mark Simpson, of Luling; three daughters, Teresa Blair and husband, Lem, of San Antonio, Dorothy Livengood, of Austin, and Karen Simpson of San Antonio; one sister, Loyce Goad, of San Benito; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was planned at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Hall Cemetery in Harwood, with the Elder Mike Rodgers officiating.
