Mrs. Nancy Lee Condra, 68, of Spicewood, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006 at the Seton Medical Center in Austin.
Mrs. Condra was born in Houston on July 7, 1938 to Oswald and Agnes Andrewartha Strawn. Mrs. Condra worked as a cook at Chisholm Trail Barbecue in Lockhart before retiring. She sang in her church choir at the Fitzhugh Baptist Church in Dripping Spr
ings for many years. She loved her church and the many friends she had there. She loved visiting the coast and watching the waves roll in. Her family and many friends will miss her.
Mrs. Condra is survived by her five children: Debra French of Spicewood, Catherine Condra of Spicewood, Carolyn Hyden of Texas City, Texas, Bobbie Meuth of Dale, and Ernest Condra of Lockhart; sister Gail Brown of Burnet; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two very close friends, Carolyn Bertin of Spring, Texas and Jean Jones of Lockhart, Texas. Mrs. Condra was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Condra, in 2005.
Mrs. Condra’s visitation was on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Eeds Funeral Home Chapel at Lockhart. Funeral Services were at the Eeds Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Kelley officiating. Interment followed after the funeral at the Lytton Springs Cemetery at Lytton Springs.
Serving as the pallbearers were Danny Meuth, Alan Brown, B.J. Meuth, Cody Hyden, Robert Brown and Bruce Butler. Honorary pallbearers serving were Woody Haywood, Tim Gustafson and Chris Jones.
