Paul Reeseman Hodge, 77, of Lockhart, passed at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio on Friday, Dec. 9, 2005. He was born on Sept. 18, 1928 in Lancaster, Ohio to Samuel Cletus Hodge and and Ethel Viola Botts.
He was preceded in death by parents and sister, Helen Hodge.
Paul is survived by his wife, Juanita Hodge of Lockhart; sons Rodney and wife Katrina Hodge of

Lockhart and Ricky Cowan of Buda; daughters, Cheryl Fisher and husband Stephen of Fritch, Texas, Laura Hanson and husband Dean of Lindale, Texas and Heidi Hodge of Lockhart; brother, Samuel Hodge Jr. of Lancaster, Ohio; sister: Anabell Stepelton of Amanda, Ohio; grandchildren, Jamie Zwernamann and husband Ryan of Abilene, David Paul Clifton of Lockhart, Tara Hornbarger of Plumas Lake, Calf., Hannah Hanson and C.J. Wimberly of Lindale, Texas, Kelsey Shawe of Lockhart and Paul Elden Hodge of Lockhart; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Lucas and Faith Zwernamann, and Asia Starr Kinchen.
In his life he was a Staff Sgt. in the USAF from 1946 – 1967, as a Security policeman and served in Korea and Vietnam; he was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels; avid bowler and loved woodworking and later retired from Lockhart I.S.D. Maintenance Dept.
Visitation was held on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005 at McCurdy Funeral Home. Services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 12, 2005 at McCurdy Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at the Bunton Cemetery, Dale, Rev. Gary Rodgers officiating.
Pallbearers attending his service were Monty Strohmeyer, Ricky Cowan, Rodney Hodge, Danny Blisard, Mel Rogas, Jimmy Turner, David Clifton and Ryan Zwernamann.
