Robert Hornberger, 82, of Lockhart, passed away on May 13, 2008. He was born on June 28, 1925 to Raymond and Mary (Lutz) Hornberger, in Ephrata, Pa.
Mr. Hornberger lived his life to the fullest. He served his country in WWII and the Korean War, in the US Navy. He was united in matrimony with his wife Cora Virginia Adair on April 4, 1946. He was a member of The Lutheran

Church. He was also a member of the Sons of Herman, VFW Post, and I BE W (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers).
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cora Virginia Adair Hornberger; son, David M. Hornberger; one brother; and one sister.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Barbara Hubbard, of Lockhart, and Carol Hulbert and husband, David, of Gore, Okla.; one brother, Roger Hornberger, of Ephrata, Pa.; one sister, Dorothy Prete, of Florida; five grandchildren, Ben Hulbert, Erin Barry, Mason Hornberger, Hillary Eckford and Katie Hornberger; and four great-grandchildren Eyan Barry, Aydan Barry, Cordell Hulbert, and Jaeda Eckford.
The family would like to express a special thanks to daughter-in-law Julie Hart.
Graveside services were Friday, May 16, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. at Masonic Cemetery, in Prairie Lea.
