Sammie Anderson

Sammie Carmen Anderson, 73, of Lockhart, died Sept. 3, 2017.
Sammie was born on March 13, 1944 in Lockhart to Samuel Earl Wallace and Carmen Gertrude Heatherly.
She was united in marriage to Elton Hollis Anderson on Aug. 14, 1960 in Del Rio, Texas.
Sammie enjoyed being with her family, sewing, gardening, cooking, nature and wildlife and painting in art class.
Sammie was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Darrel Evans; and sisters Judy Cox Delores Lawrence.
Sammie is survived by her husband, Elton Hollis Anderson, Sr., of Lockhart; daughter, Holly Anderson, of Lockhart; sons, Elton Hollis “Andy” Anderson, Jr., and wife, Connie Schneider, and Tommy Anderson and wife, Gracie, all of Lockhart; sisters, Earlene Malicoat, of Kyle, and Margaret Kubicek, of Victoria; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren (and one on the way); nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 at Eeds Funeral Home Chapel from 10 – 11 a.m., with funeral services following at 11 a.m. A Reception will follow at the VFW Hall after the funeral service.
