Life is a circle. And circles come in different sizes. Although Spencer’s circle was small, it was complete, whole and fulfilled.
An avid athlete, Spencer excelled in football, basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, tennis, and swimming. More than his love of sports was his love for his teammates and coaches. All who met Spencer knew his passion for the Boston Red Sox and Texas A&M athletics. He enjoyed attending games and participating in numerous baseball and soccer camps at Texas A&M. Some of his Aggie highlights included running bases at Olsen Field, presenting a game ball on the court at Reed Arena, correspondence with his hero Stephen McGee and photos with Aggie “greats” such as Dat Nguyen and Acie Law IV.
Spencer’s passion for learning began at Children’s Discovery Center, Christ United Methodist Church and Custer Road Christian Day School. He enjoyed attending Boon Elementary School and was honored as “Boon Patriot of the Week” and named to the “Boon All-Star Team.” During the holidays, some of his favorite trips included travels to Boston, Hawaii, Carmel, Disneyworld, and London.
Spencer is survived by his parents Patrick and Anna Squire of Allen, Texas; his brother Ryan Squire; his grandparents Warren Patton and Patricia Kirksey of Lockhart, Texas, and John and Mary Squire of Weymouth, Massachusetts. Aunts and Uncles are Margo and Chris Dailey of College Station, Texas, Chris and Cindy Squire of Plainville, Massachusetts, Jonathan and Linda Squire of Louisville, Kentucky, Eric Squire of Owensboro, Kentucky, Maura Squire of Boston, Massachusetts, and Deirdre and Tom Cunningham of Maldon, Massachusetts.
