Trinidad C. Baltierra of Lockhart, Texas slipped into Jesus arms Sept. 22, 2016,

at the age of 82 after her short battle with breast cancer.

Trinidad was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and never missed a game if she could help it. She had a generous and loving heart which touched many lives with her presence.

She was born Feb. 6, 1934, in Pflugerville, Texas, to Carm

en Cedillo and Francesca Quiroz.

Trinidad was a loving wife of 64 years, a phenomenal mother and an amazing grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Refugio Munoz Baltierra; her son, Bobby Baltierra; two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by nine children – five sons: Vincent Baltierra (Kim), from Michigan, Jimmy Baltierra (Mary), of Austin, Danny Baltierra, of Houston, Hector Baltierra (Debbie), of Austin and Ruben Baltierra (Rebecca) of Italy; and four daughters: Diane Barker (Clay), of Elgin, Frances Baltierra-Hubbard (David), of Lockhart, Maryann Rocha (Henry), of Buda and Sylvia Vasquez (Jessie), of Florida; one brother, Ramon Cedillo, of El Paso; 22 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

The family received visitors at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart, Texas beginning at 5 p.m. followed by the Rosary at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26. Mass of a Catholic Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 at St. Mary”s Catholic Church in Lockhart, the Rev. Edward Karasek, Celebrant. Interment followed at San Pablo Cemetery.
