Willis Andrew Wright was born on Jan. 28, 1935 in Dale, Texas to Teo Nails and Roscoe Wright.
He had several nicknames given to him by his lovely family and friends Jr., Jr. Boy, Hot Shot, and Willie. If you knew him you loved him; his smile would charm your heart.
On May 29, 2007 while in the stillness of early morning God whispered softly for him to come home

to be with him and he answered his call.
Willis was preceded in his death by his mother Teo Nails, sisters, Mattie Everna Ellison and Myrtle Dean Adair.
He leaves to cherish is loving memory one great aunt Ether Berry; one aunt Myrtis Davis; one brother-in-law Pervis Ellison; one niece Gloria Anderson (Kenneth) four nephews, Pervis James Ellison, Stanley Ellison, and Keith Ellison all of San Antonio, Texas and Michael Ellison (Paula) of New Orleans, La.; five great-nieces, two great-great-nieces, seven great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew, and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Mason Lone Oak Baptist Church at 11 am. on Saturday, June 2, 2007 with the Rev. Bernard Willis officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Stanley Coleman, Keith Ellison, Michael Ellison, Pervis Ellison, Stanley Ellison, and James E. Holt. Honorary pallbearers were: the Brown Family, the Brite Family, and the Wright Family.
