Mrs. Patrocinia Martinez, 82, of Lockhart, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009. She was born on Sept. 11, 1926.

Mrs. Martinez is survived by her daughter, Mary Cruz; sons: Robert Martinez and wife, Sara, Frank Martinez and wife, Pam, and Gabriel Hernandez and wife, Virginia; sisters, Domitila Juarez and Avolina Vega; brother, Manuel Hernandez; 12 grandchildren; 13 gr

eat-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Recitation of the rosary was Friday, June 26, 2009 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Funeral mass was celebrated at Saturday, June 27, 2009, at 10 a.m., also at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
