NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 7:00 P.M. in the lower level of City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public input regarding the following:

 

SUP-15-10. A request by Dennis and Margarita Korman for a Specific Use Permit to allow a DF-2 Duplex-Family Development Type in the RMD Residential Medium Density District on Lot 5, Block 3, Trinity Addition, and located at 510 Ruddy Street.

SUP-15-11. A request by Glenn Synnott on behalf of Jesco Construction for a Specific Use Permit to allow 28 duplexes (DF-2 development type) and 7 four-plexes (CF-1 development type) in the RMD Residential Medium Density District on 9.232 acre in the James George League, Abstract No. 9, located at 920 Trinity Street.

All interested persons owning property within 200 feet of these properties who wish to state their support or opposition may do so at this Public Hearing; or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner or his designee for presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission at or before the time the Public Hearing begins.

 

Should any person be aggrieved by the Commission’s action, a request may be submitted in writing for an appeal to City Council. Such request must be submitted to the Zoning Administrator (City Planner) within ten calendar days of the date of the Commission’s action.

The City of Lockhart (the City) will be accepting applications for banking depository services for fiscal year(s) 2016-2018.

 

Sealed applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m., September 10, 2015 at the City’s offices located at 308 W. San Antonio, Lockhart, TX 78644. Submission instructions and information may be obtained from Stephanie House, Controller at 512/398-3461. It is the responsibility of the firm to insure that the application is received by the City by the date and time specified above. The City reserves the right to reject any and all applications received. Only applications received at the location desired and in the time frame given will be considered.

NOTICE OF

REQUIREMENT TO COMPLY WITH THE SUBDIVISION

SERVICE EXTENSION POLICY OF AQUA WATER SUPPLY

CORPORATION

 

Pursuant to Texas Water Code, §13.2502, Aqua Water Supply Corporation hereby gives notice that any person who subdivides land by dividing any lot, tract, or parcel of land, within the service area of Aqua Water Supply Corporation, Certificate of Convenience and Necessity No. 10294, in Bastrop, Caldwell, Williamson, Lee, Fayette and Travis Counties, into two or more lots or sites for the purpose of sale or development, whether immediate or future, including re-subdivision of land for which a plat has been filed and recorded or requests more than two water service connections on a single contiguous tract of land must comply with the Rules and Regulations Concerning Aqua’s Service to Subdivisions (the “Subdivision Policy”) contained in Aqua Water Supply Corporation”s tariff.

 

Aqua Water Supply Corporation is not required to extend retail water utility service to a service applicant in a subdivision where the developer of the subdivision has failed to comply with the Subdivision Policy.

 

Applicable elements of the Subdivision Policy include:

Evaluation by Aqua Water Supply Corporation of the impact a proposed subdivision service extension will make on Aqua Water Supply Corporation”s water supply system and payment of the costs for this evaluation;

Payment of reasonable costs or fees by the developer for providing water supply capacity;

Payment of fees for reserving water supply capacity;

Forfeiture of reserved water supply capacity for failure to pay applicable fees;

Payment of costs of any improvements to Aqua Water Supply Corporation”s system that are necessary to provide the water service;

Construction according to design approved by Aqua Water Supply Corporation and dedication by the developer of water facilities within the subdivision, following inspection.

 

Aqua Water Supply Corporation”s tariff and a map showing Aqua Water Supply Corporation”s service area may be reviewed at Aqua Water Supply Corporation”s offices, at 415 Old Bastrop Highway, Bastrop, Texas 78602 or on Aqua’s website at www.aquawsc.com. The tariff and service area map are also filed of record at the Public Utility Commission of Texas and may be reviewed by contacting the PUC, 1701 N. Congress Avenue, P.O. ORDINANCE 2015-18

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOCKHART, TEXAS REPEALING UN-CODIFIED ORDINANCES 07-32 AND 2011-09 IN THEIR ENTIRETY AND ADOPTING UN-CODIFIED ORDINANCE 2015-18 CREATING “ASSIGNMENT PAY” FOR CERTAIN ASSIGNMENTS WITHIN THE FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS AND ESTABLISHING “SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PAY” FOR MEMBERS OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING A REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

The Caldwell County Unit Road System is seeking bids for the period beginning October 1, 2015 and terminating September 30, 2016. The following bid items are Aggregate, Asphalt Materials, Flexible Base, Fuel (Regular Unleaded/No. 2 Diesel – Low Sulfur), Oil and Lubricants.

Specifications may be obtained by contacting (512) 398-7269 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (Monday thru Friday). The item bid should be clearly marked on the front lower left hand corner of the envelope.
