APPLICATION FOR OIL AND GAS

WASTE DISPOSAL WELL PERMIT

Benchmark Texas Petroleum, LLC., P.O. Box 4694, Tulsa, OK 74159 is applying to the Railroad Commission of Texas for a permit to dispose of produced salt water or other oil and gas waste by well injection into a porous formation not productive of oil or gas. The applicant proposes to dispose of oil and gas waste into the Lower Edwards B Formation, Hastings Lease, Well Number 1SW. The proposed disposal well is located 8.80 miles SE of Lockhart, Texas in the Tenney Creek Field, in Caldwell County. The waste water will be injected into strata in the subsurface depth interval from 3100 to 3400 feet.

 

LEGAL AUTHORITY: Chapter 27 of the Texas Water Code, as amended, Title 3 of the Texas Natural Resources Code, as amended, and the Statewide Rules of the Oil and Gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.

 

Requests for a public hearing from persons who can show they are adversely affected, or requests for further information concerning any aspect of the application should be submitted in writing, within fifteen days of publication, to the Environmental Services Section, Oil and Gas Division, Railroad Commission of Texas, P.O. OF

CALDWELL COUNTY, TEXAS

 

A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD CONCERNING THE PROPOSED 2015-2016 BUDGET OF CALDWELL COUNTY, TEXAS ON AUGUST 17TH, 2015 AT 9:30 A.M. AT THE CALDWELL COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 110 SOUTH MAIN STREET, LOCKHART, TEXAS.

THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL REQUIRE RAISING MORE REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES THAN IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR BY $250,971 OR 1.92% AND OF THAT AMOUNT $250,971 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR.
