Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals from Contractors furnishing all permits, materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete a new primary 480Y/277 electrical service to the Lockhart High school site at 906 Center Street.

 

Lockhart ISD will accept proposals from Contractors until 2:00 P

.M. June 25, 2015 at the District’s Administrative Offices located at 105 S. Colorado St., Lockhart, TX 78644.

 

Proposal bid documents, including drawings and specifications are available from the District office, contact Tanya Homann at 512-398-0052.

A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the high school construction trailers on June 11, 2015 at 1:30 pm. Attendance is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals from General Contractors furnishing all permits, materials, labor, tools and equipment necessary to complete a new 58,200 square foot Lockhart ISD Elementary School which will be located at 9000 FM 1185 in Lytton Springs, Texas on approximately 20 acres. It will feature Pre-K thru 5th grade classrooms for 500 students, music room, 2 art/science classrooms, library, activity center, cafeteria and a learning courtyard. The substantial completion date will be August 8, 2016.

 

Lockhart ISD will accept proposals from Contractors until 2:00 P.M. July 9, 2015 at the District’s Administrative Offices located at 105 S. Colorado St., Lockhart, TX 78644.

The Caldwell County Appraisal District (“District”) invites sealed bids pursuant to Texas Government Chapter 2269, Subchapter C to construct a new District headquarters building. The budget for this project is approximately $850,000. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 a.m. on June 19, 2015 at the District offices at 610 San Jacinto, Lockhart, Texas. Ham repeaters are used for base, mobile and handheld communications which are particularly useful as backup communication during emergencies, weather alerts, weather spotter reports, etc. We used our Austin repeaters regularly as a spotting service during severe weather for the National Weather Service, the City of Austin Emergency Operations Center, the State of Texas Races, Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service, for communications to Red Cross, 911 / Police / EOC / Hospital / Fire Dept. backup during Y2K, event communication for the Capital 10k, 3M Half Marathon, etc.
